The tiger tail neck roll is a self-massage technique using a tiger tail (a handheld massage stick) to roll out the muscles of the neck and upper traps. The targeted pressure releases tightness from screen time, stress, and lifting. It is one of the simplest interventions for neck tension.

How to perform
- Hold a tiger tail (or similar massage stick) with both hands.
- Place the stick across the side of your neck or your upper trap.
- Apply moderate pressure and slowly roll the stick along the muscle.
- Roll from the base of your neck out toward your shoulder.
- If you find a tender spot, pause and apply gentle sustained pressure for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Continue rolling slowly. Each pass should take 3 to 5 seconds.
- Repeat on the other side of your neck.
- Spend 1 to 2 minutes per side. Use light pressure on the throat or front of the neck.
