How to perform

  • Start by sitting on a bench with your back straight and your feet flat on the ground.
  • Hold a barbell with an overhand grip and lift it above your head, keeping your arms straight.
  • Slowly lower the barbell behind your head, bending your elbows and keeping your upper arms close to your head.
  • Pause for a moment, then lift the barbell back up to the starting position, straightening your arms.
  • Repeat for the desired number of reps.
