How to perform

  • Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a barbell with an overhand grip, hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  • Bend your knees slightly and hinge forward at the hips, keeping your back straight and your core engaged.
  • Bring the barbell towards your chest, keeping your elbows close to your body and squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement.
  • Lower the barbell back down to the starting position, keeping your back straight and your core engaged throughout the exercise.
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
